winning. Although it may be hard to imagine, Jimmie Johnson was no different.
Before the California native became a six-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion
and 74-time race winner, he began his climb up the NASCAR national series ladder
in the NASCAR XFINITY Series in 1998. In two of his three starts that season,
Johnson piloted the red, white and blue No. 59 Kingsford/Matchlight Chevrolet.
