Having won the previous weekend, Jeff Gordon entered the AAA Texas 500 at Texas Motor
Speedway as the only driver locked into the Championship Round. Although the
four-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion didn’t win the race in the Lone Star
State, he finished ninth and was still the only driver with a confirmed spot in
the final round. After starting 18th in a Chevrolet SS sponsored by Axalta and
Service King, Gordon ran in the top 15 for most of the race. Service King is one
of the largest multi-location operators of collision repair facilities in the
U.S., dedicated to offering customers an overall superior service experience.
