Long before NAPA Auto Parts adopted its current blue and yellow color scheme that most people associate with the brand today, the nationwide automotive parts retailer’s vehicles boasted a yellow and black look. When Darlington Raceway’s popular throwback program returns Labor Day Weekend, Chase Elliott’s No. 24 Chevrolet SS will run a yellow and black paint scheme inspired by NAPA’s fleet of yesteryear, which included trucks, vans and estate cars. In addition, one of NAPA’s historic logos with the phrase “Assurance of Quality” will adorn the car’s hood.
