Last year, Brad Keselowski finished second in Darlington Raceway’s Bojangles’
Southern 500, but he is looking to improve upon that showing this season and
walk away with a win. As part of Darlington’s throwback campaign, Keselowski
will take the green flag for the Labor Day weekend race in his No. 2 Ford Fusion
sporting a retro logo that hasn’t been around since the early 1970s. In 1972,
when the Miller Brewing Co. first obtained the rights to start producing what is
known today as Miller Lite, the cans featured the word “Lite” in script and some
of the ingredients necessary to make beer. This design disappeared from cans in
1974, but will reappear for one race on the No. 2 Miller Lite Darlington Ford
Fusion and its Action Racing Collectables die-cast replica.
